Blocked Eyebrows >:3

Image
Hair back, slop shirt on, layer of cold cream baby. Ok! 1st layer of glue and eye brows were brushed up.  Looking pretty good. Then I noticed my glue is old.... Started getting gummy :/ did about 5 layers letting them dry in between. SOAK those babies in powder, at this point I know this is not going to end well. Not pleased. Added white to cover them. Added the lip wheel color to cancel out the blue undertones. Covered with the highlight color. Then covered whole face in foundation.  Honestly, not the WORST, but I have done better.  Curse old glue!!!! This is how they look with nice new glue ! Took everything off with baby wipes, baby shampoo, and cold cream!

Aging Makeup!

First step! Hair back and "costume on"! Adding a thin layer of cold cream to give the skin a layer  between all of the makeup. Correction! Adding green to the red spots, and  yellow to the dark spots.  Then blended out. Foundation Time! Added and even layer of foundation to my sponge by patting it in the lid first before applying to face. Boom! Base layer of foundation done. (Looking dewy kind of nice??) I sketched out wrinkles with the eyebrow pencil.  I looked at my drawings, and scrunched up my face to find the spots! Added contour to the jawline to show the hollowing as well. Next, I added highlights above all of the contour lines.  Added extra highlight to the tip of the nose and chin. Next, I defined the wrinkles with the contour shade. Added contour to to cheekbones to show hollowing. Blending!  With a clean brush I blended the contour shades down lightly. ...

Corrective/Glam Makeup!

Adding green to cancel out red blemishes. Adding yellow to cancel out dark spots. The yellow and green blended out. Added a layer of the medium shade of foundation. Contour was added in vertical lines to give natural  shadowing on the face. Lines were added on the cheek bones, temples, forehead, and under the bottom lip. Highlight was added in dots to the high points of the face. Dots were added to the bridge of the nose, forehead, and cheeks. Front and side view of the makeup blended out. When blending I used different sides of the  sponge to blend out the contour and highlight. Blush was added to the apples of the cheeks and blended up. The eyebrows were defined with the eyebrow pencil in small hair line strokes, and then brushed out to blend it out. Mascara was added as well as lipliner, after the lips  were lined, they were filled in with a natural lip color from the lip wheel. And tha...

Partner Swap Makeup! I closely followed Travis's design to create this look. I had to custom mix all of the colors except for the black. This was the design that Travis did on me.  Circles are not easy!

Krewe of Cleopatra Step by Step

Image
Krewe of Cleopatra  I started by sketching my design on my face with an eyeliner pencil. I then mixed a "skin color" with a lot of white, a little brown, and a tiny bit of blue. I think added the yellow for the crown. Next, I used read for the diamonds on my cheeks. Then, I used the black to apply winged eyeliner, under eye designs, and the lips. Then, I added a red stripe down the center of my lip. Finally, I outlined all of my work in black to make it pop. Profile shot. Other profile shot.
